Wildlife Fencing
World leading wildlife fencing.
Since 2004, Animex Fencing has been providing products, guidance, and support for conservation and construction projects worldwide. Our scientifically tested range of fencing and mitigation solutions is specifically engineered to safeguard both wildlife and people from the effects of global development.
We design and manufacture products that deliver highly effective, environmentally responsible solutions for managing, controlling, and excluding animals from restricted areas. Through continuous innovation in materials and techniques, we ensure our wildlife fencing remains among the most durable and efficient available.

We are, however, happy to provide additional information on our case studies as projects are developed collaboratively.

Wildlife Fencing Guides
The exact extent of wildlife fencing on roads is unknown, but research shows it can greatly reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions and maintain habitat connectivity, especially when paired with crossing structures. Standard DOT fencing works for large mammals but fails to exclude reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals.
Global studies and field observations show that solid barriers are far more effective, preventing climbing, digging, entanglement, and pacing. Their success comes from acting as a sensory barrier, when animals cannot see through, they move along the fence to safe crossings or back to habitat.
With over 3.9 million miles of road in the U.S. alone, Animex has created specifications to attach our fencing to DOT woven wire, chain-link, livestock fencing, or guardrails, enhancing safety for both people and wildlife.
